Core definition and structural principle of composite warm edge spacing strip

Composite warm edge spacing strip is a low thermal conductivity support material designed specifically for insulating glass. Its core function is to significantly improve the thermal insulation performance and structural stability of doors and windows by blocking the thermal bridge effect at the edge of the glass. Its typical structure consists of the following three parts:

Outer stainless steel: Made of 0.3-0.5mm thick stainless steel sheet, the surface is treated with wire drawing or coating, balancing corrosion resistance and decorative properties.
Intermediate layer polymer material: Polypropylene (PP) or nylon modified materials are selected, with a thermal conductivity controlled at 0.16-0.28W/(m · K), which is only 1/1500 of traditional aluminum spacer strips, effectively blocking heat transfer.
Internal cavity design: Honeycomb or grid like structure reduces weight while enhancing compressive strength, ensuring long-term use without deformation.
